Art
In our magical art cottage, students embark on a colorful adventure exploring multiple mediums, from painting to sculpting and everything in between. Class art projects often work hand in hand with performances or classroom themes, and each is a celebration of creativity. Through hands-on activities and personalized instruction, our program ignites a lifelong passion for art, fostering confidence and self-expression in every child.
Library
At Monica Ros we love to read and encourage our students and families to embrace this very cornerstone of a successful education. Our library (one of the newest buildings on our campus) has been thoughtfully designed, inspiring our students to find a cozy corner and embrace a good read. Our librarian has cultivated an incredible collection of books that span the human experience and captivate our students.
Performing Arts & Music
From Green Room through 3rd grade, an MRS student will take the stage in front of an audience an average of 33 times! From acting and singing to dancing and beyond, our performing arts program empowers students to showcase their unique gifts and talents while at the same time strengthening teamwork, communication and problem-solving abilities, and emotional intelligence. Our students carry these skills, bonds and the confidence they hone on stage back to the classroom and into the rest of their life journeys.
Spanish
Our early education Spanish program is a vibrant and immersive experience designed to introduce little ones to the beauty of the Spanish language and culture. Through fun-filled activities, interactive games, and lively songs, children naturally absorb the language and build a strong foundation in Spanish communication that serves them well as they move into grade school. And while vocabulary is more intentionally introduced to our older students, the premise of learning language through fun and activity endures!
Physical Education
Monica Ros students enjoy a regular routine of age-appropriate physical activities, all designed to help develop a student’s motor skills, physical strength and stamina. Challenging students both independently and in collaborative “team” activities, our Physical Education teacher helps students to develop a fun, positive relationship with exercise that will serve as solid groundwork for the future.
