Summer Camp FAQs

AGES

Our classic camp is for children aged 3-10 years of age. We want to make sure everyone understands that we require campers to be potty-independent. This means that they come to camp without the aid of diapers or pull-ups. They must also be able to wipe themselves.

Of course, we’ll always be ready to meet an accident with cheerful equanimity! We are here to help as we can and will communicate any concerns that we may have.

TIMING

Our cheery camp sign-in is at 8:45 AM - 2:45 PM each day. We do not offer early morning care or aftercare, but we promise to send your children home happy and tired after a full day!

Daily Schedule

We start our day playing on the playground at 8:45 AM and play for about 45 minutes to an hour. Then we head into our assigned classrooms for circle time and snack. Our amazing camp counselors have creative projects and games for the campers to do every day! We have lunch at 12 PM, and then the preschoolers head to water play, while the grade school camp may head to free play or finishing up a project.

Water play takes place on the lower playground on our turf. We have a fun sprinkler system, a slip and slide, and other exciting water toys! After the preschoolers head back to their class, the grade school camp comes out for water play.

We end our day with snow cones every day. Our snow cones are shaved ice with lemonade or another kind of fruit juice.

Pick-up is at 2:45 every day!

CAMP GROUPS

When organizing summer camp groups, we place campers into groups with similarly-aged children. These groups are decided at the discretion of Monica Ros Staff and subject to change. Requests from families to have friends or family grouped together happens occasionally, and is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Lastly, we do our best to ensure children stay in the same groups from week-to-week, but this is not always possible. How we see it is each week is a new opportunity to make new friends!

CAMP COUNSELORS

Each camp group is led by outstanding counselors, many of whom are seasoned Monica Ros educators with years of experience. Their expertise and dedication ensure a thoughtfully designed camp experience filled with joy, discovery, and meaningful connection.
