Kristen Smith

BOARD MEMBER (2023-2026)

Kristen Smith is an instructional program and web designer. She has spent the past eight years developing and shepherding models for curriculums and designing the sites to share them. While the topics and materials produced by the teams she guides vary widely, her goal is always the same: how to most efficiently and effectively communicate new information.

Originally from Chicago's Western suburbs, she graduated from Rice University with her architecture degree and worked as an architect at Richard Meier Partners before joining Gensler Partners in Los Angeles. In 2018 she took a hiatus to publish a book and release a corresponding serial podcast. She has been an involved parent at Monica Ros since her son Rudd started in the Green Room in 2018.
